In this course students will learn techniques and a thought process behind drawing in Anime and Manga styles. Students will learn how to create emotionally expressive characters using facial expressions and dynamic poses. They will learn about collaborative storytelling as a narrative constructed together, ready for creating very own Manga comics. We will focus on pencil to build the anatomic structure, then move onto ink to learn about lighting and form. By the end of this course each student will have a character designed and the page of a Manga comic.
