About the Course
This course is designed to support and guide students who decided already or still thinking to take creative direction for their GCSE.
The aim of the course is to supplement student’s schoolwork on the portfolio and to inspire new ideas for students who are considering taking up Art & Design for their GCSE.
Working towards a Comprehensive portfolio or a complete theme from the brief (all depends how many hours student will work with us) will be guided whilst exploring each of the GCSE Assessment Objectives.
The course covers a range of research ideas, exploration of visual aids, development of the ideas and practical implementation of the agreed resolution. Alongside the practical realisation of the brief, an accent will be given on critical analysis of personal work and the work of others that will help develop both written and verbal communication skills when describing artwork and ideas.
Working in small group will enable each student to receive enough individual support.
Most materials will be provided with exception of some specifically required for the ideas which have already been initiated and in progress (subject to discussion).
