Our Programme

We've been successfully running our Fine Arts School in Norwich for years, expanding and curating new sessions for our young creatives. We offer different types of classes to suit different needs and interests, specifically catered to ages 7-16.

Our classes are held in small groups so booking in advance is required due to the limited number of places.

Art4Youth is a CIC, committed to the wellbeing of children, providing our Art Education programme for free to children aged 7-16 from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. For more information get in touch at welcome@art4youth.org.uk

Landscape Set Course

This course will guide students in using graphite, acrylic paint, watercolours & pastels to create artwork inspired by our Norfolk landscapes.

Portraiture Set Course

This course will offer our young artists an in depth knowledge to portrait drawing, allowing students to develop their observational skills and accuracy in drawing.

Illustration Set Course - Mixed Mediums

In this course, students will experiment and dabble in the creative arts to develop their fundamental illustrative art skills through the traditional practice of observational still life drawing leading on to creation of imaginary characters and story telling.

Manga, Anime, Comic Drawing Set Course

In this class students will learn the techniques and a thought process behind drawing in Anime and Manga styles.

This course will take students on a sensory journey through the change of seasons in nature exploring the colours, mood and textures that can be captured in art.

Our Location

Since we cut the ribbon in February 2017, Art 4 Youth Norwich art school has welcomed many faces from the local Norfolk community, all sharing our passion for the arts and dream to turn this project into a national initiative.

We are thrilled to establish our new creative hub at the beautiful and iconic Carrow House (301 King St, Norwich NR1 2TN), a building rich in history and once part of the Colman family’s mustard legacy in Norwich. Though our space is still a work in progress, we have recently moved in and are already running our art sessions from this inspiring new location.
