About the Course
In this class students will learn the techniques and a thought process behind drawing in Anime and Manga styles.
Students will learn how to create emotionally expressive characters using facial expressions and dynamic poses.
They will also learn about collaborative story telling as we construct a narrative together, ready for creating our own Manga comics.
We will focus on pencil to build the anatomic structure, then move onto ink to learn about lighting and form.
By the end of this course each student will have a character designed and the page of a Manga comic.
